Being able to see what you are eating will allow you to firstly see just what the nutrition facts are that you are putting into your body. Secondly it will also let you keep track of what you are eating. If you don't have a smart phone you can also just write down what it is you are eating and write down the generals with it... fat, calories, carbs, sodium are the biggest concern.
I promise you this, if you do just this one thing, you will start to lose weight 90% of the time. Knowing what crap you are putting into your body allows you to know what needs to be removed from your diet.
