So on day two, yesterday, I started my morning off doing the cardio workout. If you read the last blog you know that I decided to skip the cardio and go straight to the upper body workout for fear of the exercise working my heart too hard, and possibly setting my pacemaker off. So on day two I went for the cardio and gave it a shot and it felt great! Yes I did the modified version that they have on the dvd, but it still works you hard!
After my workout I was getting ready to take my daughter to school. At this point my legs were burning and my abs were very sore. I looked at the clock and knew we had to leave right then. We went out to the car and the car would not start. I thought "great, I just put in a new battery, now what." I tried again, even less power, and monkey never learns, I did it again. All I heard that time I heard click click click...
Luckily the school is only about .75 miles away from us. However, we only had 15 minutes before the bell would ring. With the fire burning in my legs and the soreness in my abs, my daughter and I power-walked to the school. We got there with about 3 minutes to spare. I don't think I have ever walked so fast in my life haha.
Overall I'm glad that I was able to take that walk, it felt really good to push through the pain in my legs. I love how I am feeling after even just two days. Avoiding junk and avoiding process foods reminds me of why I did this in the first place and originally lost weight.
